i'm just making a wild guess, but i think everyone on here has a birthday. i followed the link on wiki for mine and found out it gives you a list of famous and semi-famous people that share it as well as any crazy historical stuff that may have happened that day.


1793 - french revolutionary wars: france declares war on the united kingdom and the netherlands. the netherlands invited them over for a few bong hits and england made tea. now they're like family.

1861 - texas secedes from the united states during the civil war. no word on if they're ever coming back, but i've got my fingers crossed!

1893 - thomas edison creates the first movie studio. the next day, samuel l. jackson stars in 50 films. the day after - tom's brother carl invents the porn industry. no word on how that went.

1920 - the canadian royal mounted police begin operations. moose meth dealers everywhere take notice. nell feels safe for the first time in years.

1924 - the uk recognizes the ussr. it mistakes it for china and things are awkward until scotland tells that joke about the vicar and the rabbi walking into a bar.

2004 - justin timberlake exposes janet jackson's naked breast at a superbowl halftime show. the 400 pound shirtless guys in the stands are mortified.

john ford - director of "the grapes of wrath".

clark gable - and frankly my dears, i don't give a damn.

langston hughes - african american writer whose works include "the ways of white folks". and i'm a white folk! what are the odds?!!?!?

boris yeltsin - the dean martin of post communist russia and a great dancer.


terry jones - that's right; i get the monty python guy no one remembers.

rick james - meh. i was always more of a prince fan.

duane "the dog" chapman - my hair is slightly less embarrassing. i've also never been in a mexican prison...but the night is young!

brandon lee - son of bruce, star of "the crow". i like this one.

dwayne goettel - former member of canadian electronic acts skinny puppy and download. i like this one, too. oddly, brandon was a fan and friend to the band.

lisa marie presley - daughter of the king.

pauley shore - ew. i feel...dirty. and the dirt's NOT COMING OFF.

and last but not really that least, i guess:

big boi - the less cool guy from outkast. meh. i'd expect andre 3000 instead...looking at him is like looking in a mirror. if the mirror was a tv and the video for "hey ya" was playing. but still. love the wardrobe.
